What is a Chip Resetter?

Let’s face it, replacing your ink cartridges is never something to look forward to. Ink cartridges are expensive and overly priced for the very reason that printer manufacturers need to focus more on selling the most used product, versus the printers themselves. You cannot have a printer without the ink right? One of the greatest expenses a printer user has is replacing the ink cartridges, until chip resetters came to be. The chip resetters are frowned upon by large printer manufacturers such as Epson and HP, because this device gives a printer user the ability to fool the printer’s smart chip into reading the ink cartridges as new and licensed by the printer’s manufacturer. Chip resetters allow printer users to replace ink cartridges with unlicensed cheaper cartridges to cut expenses.
